Nova-like outburst of a star in Libra
GW Lib (coordinates 2000: alpha 15h19m55.3s, delta -25°00'25") can be fainter than 18 mag, but it started an outburst two days ago. Four hours ago, it already reached 9.5 mag. VSNET issued a number of communiqués regarding that extremely rare outburst, see below. Also included is my magnitude estimate & image.
Further observations, spectroscopic if possible, are strongly encouraged.
